.:Storm:.Lying in bed at 2 AM with the fan whirring in my ear,  When I think I see a flash of light out my open window.  Scurrying out of my warm bed to stare out the window,  Searching for lightning.   
And getting a face-full of moist wind for my efforts.  Blinking away the water blinding my vision.  Waiting for more flashes but quickly growing impatient.  Turning back to my bed, when the rain starts pouring,  Soaking the back of my red t-shirt.  Grumbling and turning back to the window, waiting again.  Enjoying the feel of the cold rain and cool wind  That have appeared in the midst of sum .:Storm:.

Close to madness,  Perched on the edge of insanity.  Caught.   
Beating torn wings against the bars,  Desperate to fly.  Imprisoned.   
Looking up at the blue skies and clouds,  Heart longing for the caresses of the wind.  Restrained.   
Suffocating without the weightlessness of flight,  Struggling wildly for freedom.  Confined.
